so, last night my wife and i watched Ratatouille. actually it was the first time. we really loved it and thought it was another classic from Pixar. we always watch movies through the credits because we always find something interesting or hidding in them. with this movie my wife pointed this one out and we thought it was kind of a in your face to the other studios who do 3D animated movies. it reads “100% Genuine ANIMATION! No motion capture or any other performance shortcuts were used in the production of this film” wow. i guess people who make movies like “The Polar Express” and “Beowulf” should be ashamed. the animation on Ratatouille was amazing! they have some real talent in that company!

its time to support someone you can trust! Harvey Dent is that someone! The following is taken from his website…Harvey Dent is the one man with the courage, the guts, and the steel to stand up to the violent mob gangs that are destroying Gotham.
Why Harvey Dent?
We all know about the crime that makes us scared to walk home at night, scared to take public transportation, scared sometimes even to leave our own house.
Harvey Dent can stop the crime wave. Because Harvey Dent is the one man who can target the real sources of the violence – organized crime and corrupt cops.
Harvey Dent Put Dirty Cops Behind Bars
When nobody else had the guts to do it, Harvey Dent took on the dirty cops – and secured 11 guilty verdicts.
And he’s not stopping there.
When everybody else was throwing up their hands about massive police corruption, Dent started a public tip line for citizen complaints about corrupt cops. The tip line has received thousands of calls – and let citizens fight back against corruption.
Harvey Dent vs. The Mob
Harvey Dent is taking aim at the Mob kings that are feeding off the misery of Gotham citizens.
Dent has sworn that if he is elected District Attorney, he’ll go after the worst mob kingpin first – Sal Maroni.
Harvey Dent Can Stop The Crime Wave
Take one look at these numbers:
Crime has skyrocketed 97% in Gotham over the last 4 years.
Murders up 78%
Armed robberies up 76%
Rapes up 58%
Violent attacks up 97%Isn’t it time for a change? Isn’t it time to support Harvey Dent?
(i love viral marketing, and the marketing for the new Batman movie “the Dark Knight” is brilliant!)

Well yesterday I canceled my Netflix account. It was not exactly a hard decision to make. We were paying
about $15 a month for 2 DVDs at a time and as many as we could get a month. Sounds great, right? Quite the deal! Well it was for a while, until we get sidetracked or things get in the way of watching movies, like sick kids or just getting too busy. So we ended up keeping some movies for up to 4 weeks at a time. That is an expensive rental at $15 a month and than keeping the same two movies for that time too when we could have had more. It just ended up being a waste of money for us, and when money is tight you gotta cut where you can.
On the other side, we have an Apple TV that we have had since the day the were available. we love it because we can watch out TV Shows and Movies with one box (as long as they are stored on the computer or the Hard Drive of the Apple TV itself). But recently Apple updated the functionality of the Apple TV and now you can rent movies directly from your couch at any time you want to! the other nice thing is that a lot of the movies are available in HD! This is nice because we happen to have an HD TV. The prices are very good too. A Standard Definition movies will run you $2.99 for library titles and $3.99 for new releases and HD title are just $1 more. That is much better than Netflix because you can get anything that is available any time and you don’t have to wait for it to come int he mail or have it sitting around for weeks and weeks while your subscription gets wasted away. So far I have been very pleased with it. (More …)
